C. 1880, Ridgewood, NY. Measurements: 64"W x 46"H. Firebox Opening with surround, 19"W x 26"H.
Presenting a white carrara marble with gray undertones showing aged patina with a low arched opening and serpentine shelf. While the design is classic in its simplicity, we've paired a more statement accessory to bring in some drama. The cast iron surround and summer cover have been restored in a matte black powder coating with a brushed steel accent bar. Great workmanship of the cast iron features ornaments and floral motifs with intricate scrollwork. Such decorative extravagance in Victorian cast iron would reach its apogee in the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

Each mantel is made to order and adapted in stone, scale, opening, hearth, insert, and detail. Collection profiles are starting points. Every Mantel House fireplace is made to order following final design approval. Once shop drawings and stone selection have been approved, production typically requires 10-12 weeks.
Each mantel is professionally crated and shipped with care. We coordinate delivery worldwide and work directly with your contractor, builder, or installer to ensure a seamless arrival and installation.
