THREE FIREPLACES, ONE ARTFUL HOME
Published by Rizzoli New York, Artful Home is artist and designer Josh Young's debut book, celebrating his signature approach to serene modern classicism. Mantel House sourced three antique fireplaces for his Washington, D.C. townhouse, where they become integral architectural elements throughout the beautifully documented interiors.

Restoring Character to a Passive House
As part of this award-winning Passive House renovation, Mantel House sourced an original antique mantel for the primary bedroom, adding authentic architectural detail to a home where the original fireplaces had long since disappeared.

The Georgetown Home of a Tuckernuck Co-Founder
Home to a Tuckernuck co-founder, this historic Georgetown townhouse was reimagined by designer Melissa Lacy with warmth and contemporary style. Mantel House replaced an existing wood mantel with a period marble fireplace, restoring the architectural character the room deserved.

An 1835 Farmhouse, Reimagined
As part of the restoration of the 1835 Farmhouse at Inns of Aurora, Mantel House designed reproduction Federal mantelpieces inspired by antique originals. Thoughtfully adapted for modern gas inserts, they preserve the property's historic character while serving a new generation of guests.
